Home Bleaching
Home bleaching is a bleaching procedure that the patient applies at home by himself/herself with the instructions given by the dentist. It can be applied as a stand-alone bleaching procedure or as a support to the bleaching procedure applied in the office.
Whitening materials that can be used at home and personalised plaques made under the control of a physician are provided. The gel provided is applied to the compartments in the bleaching plates and the plates are placed in the mouth and the desired result is obtained with hourly waiting.
Teeth whitening is divided into two as Home (Home Bleaching) and Office (Office Bleaching) type. Office bleaching is professional bleaching with the help of a dentist. Home bleaching is the teeth whitening method applied in accordance with the methods given by our dentist. Home type (Home Bleaching) is used more for support purposes for office type.
Home bleaching performed under the supervision of a doctor with regular controls does not cause any damage to the teeth.
Clinically, we see that the most effective results are seen in cases where both methods are combined, that is, first to effectively lighten the tooth colour with office bleaching, and then to support this with home bleaching, both the teeth become the lightest possible colour and the whiteness is more permanent.
The desired whitening is achieved in an average of 5-7 days. It should be worn for 4-8 hours a day (it varies depending on the colour and gel).
