Jaw and Joint Splint Treatment
Pain in the temporomandibular joint and head and neck region, clicking sounds when opening and closing the jaw, limited mouth opening, difficulty and pain during movements such as chewing and yawning, wear on tooth surfaces, and jaw opening and locking are among the main symptoms of temporomandibular joint disorders.

A joint splint, also known as a night guard, is a type of treatment applied to patients who experience pain in the temporomandibular joints, teeth grinding, and restricted mouth opening. An intraoral impression is taken of the patient, and custom-made splints are created specifically for them.
The treatment process varies from person to person and from case to case.
Since we usually clench our teeth unconsciously while sleeping, these braces should be worn at night. They can also be used during the day.
The less you grind your teeth, the less jaw pain you will experience. In addition to using splints, you may also need to do jaw exercises prescribed by your doctor.
It can be applied to all patients who are 18 years of age or older and have completed their bone development.
