More frequent brushing can damage the tooth surfaces or gums.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We should make flossing a part of our lives because it cleans the spaces that a toothbrush can&#039;t reach. It should be done once or twice a week; doing it too frequently can cause gum recession in some areas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We should also brush our tongue to remove bacteria that accumulate on it and prevent bad breath. This can be added to our toothbrushing routine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We should increase our water intake; it cleans the mouth, increases saliva production, and neutralizes acids. Drinking at least 2 liters of water a day will benefit our bodies in every way.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We should consume more fiber-rich foods like apples and carrots, and reduce sugary foods and carbonated drinks. Tobacco products, such as cigarettes, are also very harmful to gums and teeth. Minimizing consumption is recommended, or ideally, avoiding them altogether.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We should use a soft-bristled toothbrush to ensure thorough cleaning without damaging the gums. Hard-bristled toothbrushes harm both gums and teeth. (For some individuals, their use may be deemed suitable only with a doctor&#039;s recommendation.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We should brush our teeth for at least two minutes, slowly, using circular motions from bottom to top.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We should make mouthwash a part of our lives. Mouthwash prevents plaque buildup and ensures easy breathing.
